1. Our Quality Promise
MSD Rock Drilling Tools are engineered to withstand the toughest formations. We warrant that every product delivered is free from defects in material and workmanship.
We stand behind our metallurgy and craftsmanship. If a product fails due to a manufacturing fault, we will make it right.
Product Coverage: This warranty applies to all MSD drilling tools, including DTH hammers, DTH bits, drill pipes, top hammer tools, and casing systems.
2. Warranty Scope: The "Early Wear Stage" Guarantee
Warranty Period: 6 months from delivery date, or the first 20% of expected service life (whichever comes first).
Why "Early Wear Stage"? Premature failures caused by material or manufacturing defects almost always occur early. By focusing on this stage, we ensure genuine defects are covered.
Technical Coverage Criteria:

3. Compensation Standards
100% Replacement
Confirmed material or manufacturing defect within the "Early Wear Stage" limits.
30-50% Partial Credit
Transitional failure where the tool failed earlier than its expected life but shows some normal wear.
No Compensation
Exceeded wear limits, or damage caused by improper operation (dry drilling, excessive rotation).
4. Claim Procedure
Fast Resolution: Technical assessment within 3 working days.
Stop Use: Do not continue drilling to preserve evidence.
Document: Take high-resolution photos of the Face, Shank, and Side.
Report: Submit photos and parameters (Air Pressure, RPM, Rock Type) to sales@rock-drillbits.com.
Resolution: Receive a formal failure analysis and resolution report.
5. Beyond Warranty: Technical Support
Drilling Optimization: Free consultation for penetration rates.
Failure Analysis: Identifying rig or operational issues.
Formation Matching: Expert geological recommendations.

6. Key Limitations
Applies only to the direct purchaser.
Does not cover consequential losses (rig downtime, lost contracts).
Batch Protection: If failure rate exceeds 30% in a single batch, immediate recall procedures are triggered.
